Read before booking an appointment to ensure your safety and that it is appropriate for you.

At LashArtistic, we are committed to providing safe high-quality eyelash extension services.

Please review the following essential information before booking your appointment.

Your health, safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.

Eyelash extensions are a great investment of your time, as the treatment itself will ensure you will have a break in your daily life and lie down and relax for a couple of hours. A few hours every few weeks will allow your everyday life to be less stressful because you will not need as much time getting ready.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN IDEAL CLIENT?

• Healthy natural eyelashes

• No rubbing of eyes or pulling of the eyelashes

• No allergies to the glue

• Committed to correct aftercare and maintenance

CONTRAINDICATIONS That PREVENT this

• You have an allergy to Cyanoacrylate ( Eyelash glue ingredient), latex, or formaldehyde.

• Suffer from blepharitis, conjunctivitis, or other eye infections.

• Have undergone recent eye surgery chemotherapy or Lasik ( within the past 12 months.

• Have sensitive eyes, prone to watering or irritation.

• Have eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis around the eye area?

• Wear contact lenses that you cannot remove for the duration of the appointment.

• You are currently unwell due to cold and flu or other viral infections.

• You are working with elevated temperatures and hot steam; this will be a course for eyelash extension shedding in faster than usual time.

• Hormonal imbalance, due to any medical condition. This will also promote faster eyelash shedding.

• You are in the first trimester of your pregnancy, currently going through menstruation, and have started a new contraceptive. Due to the hormonal changes, it can promote faster eyelash extension shedding.

• You are unable to lie still for extended periods.

IMPORTANT POLICIES

• When unsure about allergic reactions, You need to send us a direct message via social media or email LASHARTISTIC@GMAIL.COM and we will schedule you in for the allergy test appointment. This appointment will be 30 minutes long and we will be applying just a few eyelash extensions and leave it for 48 hours. Within that experience, no allergic reaction symptoms, you schedule in for a full appointment.

• If you do believe there are contraindications stopping you from booking in, you can send us a direct message and get extra advice. as there are certain cases we are able to adjust so you are able to get this treatment.

• For your treatment, you are to come with no eye makeup or any oil heavy moisturiser on your eyes.

• You will have messaged us beforehand if you have limited time for your appointment.

• You will not have any caffeine right before your appointment or energy drinks.

• You will not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

BOOKING POLICY

• By booking in, you are agreeing with all the information above.

• You are agreeing with applying correct aftercare.

• You take responsibility for making sure you have no contraindications which could cause any adverse reaction.

• You agreed to cancelling or rescheduling your appointment minimum 48 hours prior to your booking. If that was the case within those 48 hours, you will be subject to a £20 booking fee. If you do not pay the fee, you will not be able to book an appointment. But please give us a message if you are experiencing any issues and we will do our best to help.

• If you will be running late, you will have sent me a message or given me a call using the phone number mentioned in the email and make me aware. If there will be no contact your appointment will be cancelled within 20 minutes of being late.

AFTERCARE REQUIREMENTS

• First 24 hours you will limit water around your eyes and hot steam, sweating, make up, skincare products and oils.

• After 24 hours, eyelash extensions would be kept clean at all times, makeup to be removed at the end of the day.

• You will clean your eyelash extensions regularly using recommended products or our LashArtistic shampoo.

• You will not use any oily or waterproof products around your eyes; overtime will weaken the glue bond. Causing premature shedding.

• You will not sleep on your face as that will bend and break the eyelash extensions off.

• You will not use any cotton materials around your eyes or directly on the eyelash extensions as it will get stuck and pull on your eyelash extensions.

• You will not be playing or pulling with the eyelash extensions causing damage.

• You will not use eyelash curlers and lash lifting treatments on eyelash extensions.

• You will brush and style your extensions daily.

• If you will want them removed, you will do so professionally and not pull them off.

PATCH TEST

• Please read all the information above.

• We cannot predict if you will experience an allergic reaction, due to any health changes even if you have had eyelash extensions done before, it is best to book in for an allergy test.

• By booking an appointment, you agree to the policy and therefore we do not take any responsibility for reactions.

• If you do experience any issues, you will message us or call us directly straight away. We will be able to provide guidance and support.

• Allergic reactions can happen even overtime, it really is an unpredictable situation. If you get them regularly or once in a while, an allergic reaction can still happen.
